Create a colorful colorful suncatcher to brighten any window! Kids can get creative with vibrant designs while making a fun eye-catching craft. Ages 2–12 are welcome to attend at either 10:00 AM or 2:00 PM.

🧵 Your First Quilt classes are returning to the library this fall! 🧵

Have you ever watched someone finish their very first quilt? The excitement, pride, and sense of accomplishment are really something special.

This fall, we’ll once again be helping beginning quilters learn the basics through Stacy Lee Creative’s excellent video instruction combined with hands-on guidance and personal instruction. By the end of the class, participants will complete a beautiful quilt of their very own!

To help keep this program affordable and accessible, we are seeking donations of 100% quilting cotton fabric.

Fabric donations may include:
🪡 ½-yard to 1-yard cuts of quilting cotton
🪡 4-yard cuts of quilting cotton for quilt backings
🪡 ½-yard cuts suitable for quilt bindings

Would you like to sponsor a future quilter?

A complete quilt sponsorship includes:
🧵 1 yard each of 2 coordinating prints
🧵 ½ yard each of 3 additional coordinating prints
🧵 4 yards of quilting cotton for the backing
🧵 ½ yard of fabric for the binding

Many quilters have fabric tucked away that would be perfect for helping someone learn a new skill. Whether you donate a single cut of fabric or sponsor an entire quilt, your generosity helps create opportunities for creativity, confidence, and community.

Fabric donations may be dropped off at the library during regular business hours.
