Well all the slashes and spare parts have been sold got parts for the slayer and the X01 in so time to start working on those. Started on the x01 and noticed the motor was loose pulled the mount off and saw this. Who cuts the motor mount so they can tighten the grub screw easier🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Slayer is like new just needs a new skidplate and servo horn for the throttle not sure what the plans for this one are yet

Got the X01 cleaned up it needs some work so its being put on the back burner for now we will revisit it next month

Sale today also got the suspension rebuilt on the tmaxx unfortunately it wont be running again under my ownership just to much money for a new motor but atleast it will live on now

Well finally tore down the tmaxx not as bad as it looks i mean still pretty bad considering it blew up a engine lol, but as for the chassis looks like we need 2 shock, both front bulkheads, and front skid plate. I had a couple shocks laying around so that’s covered so i ordered the other items should be here friday and it will be a roller again, not sure where it goes after that

One other thing i found was the trans is actually fine but the slipper clutch got so hot it melted the spur gear haha

Well, that hasn’t gone well. Went out to tune the car it took off out of control on its own, and crashed under my car. It sat there while I tried to get to it running at full throttle till the motor seized up, and when I got it out, the front suspension was completely destroyed, and so is the transmission.

Current restoration. 3.3 converted Tmaxx 2.5. Just finished the new body waiting on decals at the moment. transmission is inoperable currently rebuiling as a single speed with forward only conversion for ultimate reliability.
