Preaching the forgiveness of God, for the sake of Christ in Word and Sacrament!
The Kingdom comes because the King comes đź‘‘đź’ś
“WHEN THE KING COMES FOR THE HELPLESS”
Jesus looked upon the crowds with compassion because they were “harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd” (Matthew 9:36).
The kingdom of God comes because the King comes. He comes for sinners. He comes for the weak. He comes for the weary. He comes for those who cannot save themselves.
Join us this Sunday as we hear Christ's call to pray, “Thy Kingdom Come,” and discover how our compassionate King still gathers His people through His Word and sends His Church into His harvest.

The greatest gift we can give our children is not a successful childhood, but a faithful Savior.
Bring them to church.
Teach them God’s Word.
Pray with them.
Remind them of their Baptism.
Remember your baptism.
God only justifies the ungodly. This is good news for sinners!

Lord, thank you for your gift of baptism and for new life for Wes and Judah! We pray that you would keep them in the Faith and guide them by your Holy Spirit so that you may be with them all of their days.🤍
Welcome to the family, guys!

This Sunday at Absolution Lutheran Church
Jesus did not come for the righteous.
He came for sinners.
Join us as we hear how Christ called Matthew from the tax booth, justified Abraham by promise, and still comes to the ungodly with forgiveness, life, and salvation.
This Sunday we will also celebrate the Baptism of Wesley and Judah, witnessing God’s promises placed upon them through water and the Word.
“To the one who does not work but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness.” — Romans 4:5

Christ comes not to reward the worthy, but to save sinners.
Not a symbol of what we do, but a gift of what He does—washing away sin, giving faith, and making us His own.
Listen to this short clip from Pastor Mike’s sermon, and join us Sunday as we celebrate God’s promises delivered to Wes and Judah through water and the Word!
The most dangerous religion is the one that tells sinners to save themselves.
The Gospel tells sinners that Christ already has.
