Happy Monday, Rebels! đ
Letâs kick off the week by sharing the epic adventures from your weekendâwhat did you crush?
I wrapped up Saturday with the AdventHealth Moonlight Beach Run 15K Bandshell Challenge in Daytona Beach. What an awesome event! (It was that perfect sunset-to-moonlight vibe on the Worldâs Most Famous Beach.) Aside from a little mix-up that had some folks adding an extra mile detour off the boardwalk to reach the start corral, everything else was spot-on. Classic Florida weather made it an ideal beach dayâstarting right on the sand and finishing inside the iconic Bandshell with the ocean breeze? Definitely putting this one back on the calendar for next year! đď¸đââď¸đ
(Quick shoutout to the hard-packed sand courseâfast, scenic, and super fun under the lights!)
Now, only 4 more days until our 1st annual 12-hour ruck! Floridaâs weather is doing its classic bipolar thingâlooks like Friday night into Saturday could turn chilly for us Southerners (think cooler temps dropping after dark, so bundle up!). Layers are your friendâyou can always peel them off once you get moving. Canât wait to see all you crazies out there racking up miles under the stars. What better way to launch the weekend? âđŞ
Got big plans this week? Drop âem belowâletâs hear the highlights!

Monthly challenge: Squats are in full swingâkeep stacking those reps!
Keep it moving, Rebels!

Happy Friday, Rebels! đ
First full week back after the holidays â and yeah, work can get pretty wild. No need to stress though⌠just keep the momentum going! đŞ
With a couple of late nights this week, I had to skip a few scheduled runs. But hey, check this out â Iâm blessed to rack up serious steps just hustling around at work. Instead of beating myself up over the missed sessions, Iâm flipping the script and getting pumped for tomorrowâs moonlight beach run in Daytona on fresh legs đ
đđď¸
Here are a few vibes from the Asian Lantern Light Festival. I did manage to make it out for some amazing sights with 50 lb ruck.
And speaking of keeping it moving⌠donât forget those squats!
Always remember: perspective is everything. Shift it, own it, and keep crushing it.
Hope to see a bunch of you Rebels out there under the moonlight tomorrow! Letâs make it epic.
Letâs Goooo! đđââď¸đ

Happy Tuesday, Rebels!
Hope you all crushed the weekend and did something epic. You know we did! We hit the Black Bear Wilderness Trail Rebel-style: 7.1 miles in full ruck mode. Then on Sunday, we added 2 more rucked miles plus our weekly 55-minute Sunday beatdownâ20 rounds of 2:00 work zones with just 20 seconds rest. That one really gets the heart pumping!
Just 10 days until our 12-hour ruckâcanât wait to be out under the stars with a few of you legends. Itâs going to be absolutely epic.
Letâs keep the momentum rolling this week:
⢠Tonight: Intervals
⢠Tomorrow: Sleds
⢠Thursday: Ruck at the Asian Lantern Festival in Sanford (no better way to light up the night!)
Saturday, I hope to see some of you at the Moonlight Run in DaytonaâIâll be tackling the 15K.
And donât forget: Get those monthly squats done!
Keep moving, Rebels.
Cheers,
Gregor

Happy Monday, Rebels!
Hope you all had an incredible holiday weekend. If you crushed something epicâshare it! Drop those pics in the comments below.
First off, a huge shoutout to the O-Town Blazers, our local running crew here in town. They put on their annual free, self-supported ultra: choose your adventure with 50K, 41K, or 18K options. It had been 13 months since my last 50K, with my longest run in that stretch just 14 miles⌠so of course, I went straight for the 50K. đ
What drew me in was the locationâone of my all-time favorite trail networks starting at the Barr Street Trailhead in Oviedo.
I spotted the event online, joined their group, and everything was flawlessly organized. Two perfect trail loops right by the parking lot for refueling, and the route took us through scenic sections Iâd somehow missed after hundreds of runs thereâincluding that hidden âchapel on a lake.â đ (IYKYK)
The organizers even handed out these cool wooden tokens to mark the year. Highly recommend jumping in next timeâgreat event with even better people.
Now, about the run itself⌠yeah, it didnât go smoothly. I knew the wheels would come off eventually with that training gap, and I was totally fine with it heading in.
Grateful for the awesome runners who hung back with me for the first 18 milesâsolid company! But around then, I felt the wall approaching, so I waved them on. No need for anyone to babysit my slow pace. đ¤Ł
Miles 18-22 turned into a run-walk shuffle (mostly walk). By 23, my calves and feet were protesting the trail terrain big time. Plenty of chances to bail, including one final pass by the car⌠but in true rebel fashion, I pushed on and hiked the last 7-ish miles.
Slow as hell, but I finishedâor so I thought. Only when I was in the truck heading home did I check my watch: 31 miles. One mile short of the full 50K. đ¤Śââď¸ At least I bagged a solid marathon distance! đ
I knew my base wasnât there yet, but hereâs the takeaway: If you wait until youâre fully âreadyâ for everything, youâll probably end up doing nothing. Just take that first step. Keep moving forward. Thatâs where real growth happensâin rucking, running, and life.
(Pro tip for next time: Fuel up with some plain cooked sweet potatoes along the wayâgreat natural energy for you and your four-legged trail buddies!)
Letâs charge into the New Year already in motion.
Nothing stops us when we keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Cheers, Gregor

Merry Christmas, Rebels! đ
In just a few hours, weâll be gathering with family and friends, filling our homes with laughter, maybe a few happy tears, and way too much delicious food (totally worth it!).
Take this time to truly enjoy it all. Let the couch pull you in for some well-deserved binge-watching of your favorite showsâitâs the perfect way to unwind after the holiday rush. But hereâs the key: relax, recharge, and donât go completely stationary. Find little ways to keep movingâgo for a family walk to admire the Christmas lights, take the kids to the park, hop on a bike ride, or even crank up some Wii dance parties.
By all means, rest up⌠but keep that momentum alive!
Wishing you all a wonderful, joyful Merry Christmas.
Weâre looking forward to crushing those miles together once the holidays wind down.
Cheers,
Gregor

Happy Sunday, Rebels!
With Christmas just days away, I hope youâre powering through these final days strong and not letting the holiday chaos throw off your momentum.
Here at Rebel Rucking, weâre closing out the month with serious energy. After last weekendâs epic adventures, we kept the momentum rolling this weekend.
We crushed an awesome 8-mile ruck with the Sanford Ruck Club, Orlando Ruck Club, and fellow clubs from around the areaâall coming together for a crisp morning trek along the historic clay road in Clermont before it gets swallowed up by new development.
Then this morning, we kept the legs pumping with the Deltona Jingle Jog 5Kârucked the whole way, of course, for that extra holiday spirit!
Whatever youâre up to today, tomorrow, or the rest of the week, remember this: You are enough. You can do it! Just keep moving.
Want to join in on the fun? Drop a comment and Iâll add you to our free private group. Find out what events we will be at, what, when and where the workouts will be, and come see us. Letâs get stronger together!
Cheers Gregor

Rebels!!!
Itâs Thursday â that means weâre staring down the barrel of the weekend, but weâre not coasting yet. Thursday is the day we dig a little deeper, push a little harder, because weâve already crushed Monday through Wednesday. The weight on your back feels familiar now, right? Thatâs progress. Thatâs you getting stronger, tougher, more resilient!
And speaking of crushing it â think about those fitness goals you set earlier this year. The heavier rucks, the faster paces, the longer distances. The Spartans, GoRucks, Dekas. Weâre not just maintaining; weâre smashing through plateaus and proving to ourselves that we can do hard things. Every week is another brick in the foundation of the strongest version of you. Keep stacking those wins â and those miles, youâre closer than ever to hitting those milestones.
With Christmas just a week away, the holidays are ramping up: parties, treats, busy schedules tempting us to slack off. But thatâs exactly why we work harder now. Weâre building that unbreakable discipline so we can enjoy the season without guilt, staying strong through the chaos. Imagine showing up to Christmas feeling energized, accomplished, and proud â because you didnât let the holiday hustle derail your progress. Let the workouts be the fuel for that fire.
Tonight, strap that ruck on tight, add some extra weight to that bar, feel the load, or walk a little further, and remember: discomfort is temporary, but the pride of finishing strong? Thatâs forever. Weâre building bodies that donât quit and minds that thrive under pressure. One foot in front of the other â letâs make finish off this year strong!
Youâve got this. Weâve got this.
Keep moving forward
Gregor

Happy Monday, Rebels!
Hope you all crushed the weekend and had a blast. Attached pics are from our epic 5-mile ruck on Saturday, followed by the grueling 7-mile Spartan Super on Sunday â nothing like a full-throttle, action-packed couple of days!
Drop your own weekend adventures in the comments â pics, stories, whatever. Iâd love to see what you got up to.
This coming weekend is a bit more chill, but still solid. A bunch of us are linking up with the Sanford Ruck Club for the 8-mile Clay Loop ruck on Saturday. Then Sunday, weâre hitting the Jingle Jog 5K in Deltona â ruck style, of course. Come out and support these local events! Would be awesome to see some of you fellow weirdos on the move.
Got any plans lined up in the next few weeks? Spill it â letâs hear what youâre cooking up!
And donât forget: keep stacking those challenge miles. One mile every single day. Build that base now â your future self will thank you.
Letâs keep moving, Rebels!
Cheers,

Happy Hump Day, Rebels!
Hereâs what âRebelâ actually means to us:
Rebel (n.): Someone who deliberately says âno thanksâ to the default script society hands out â the one that says itâs fine to eat garbage, never question nothing, stay soft, numb out, and call it âliving.â
Thatâs not a judgment on anyone elseâs choices. Itâs just not the life Iâm willing to accept for myself â and I know a lot of you feel the same.
Thatâs why I started Rebel Rucking.
In a world where itâs weird to:
⢠Read the ingredient label
⢠Ask your doctor âwhy?â
⢠Spend your weekend moving instead of melting into the couch
⢠Choose water over another round
âŚwe choose to be the weirdos.
People ask me why the hell Iâd throw on a weighted pack and hike for 12+ hours straight (like weâre doing in January â spots still open, say the word and youâre in).
Simple answer: Because I still can.
Iâm blessed to be healthy enough to drive to North Carolina, run a Spartan Ultra on two hours of sleep, and feel more alive crawling through mud at mile 20 than most people feel all week.
Nothing â no drink, no drug, no âlazy dayâ (which I still enjoy, donât get me wrong) â comes close to that earned high you get when you push your body and mind to the edge and come out the other side grinning like a lunatic.
I see it every day: people who secretly wish they could do this stuff too.(They can) They just havenât taken that first scary step yet.
So hereâs the invitation:
Start small. Start today.
Walk the miles in this monthâs challenge.
Put on a pack when youâre ready.
Eat one meal like you give a damn.
Move for 20 minutes like your future self is watching.
Let them call you weird.
Let them laugh.
Wear it like armor.
Because every time you choose the harder thing, youâre voting for the version of you thatâs stronger, happier, and freer.
Thatâs the rebellion.
Not against âsociety.â
Against the voice in your head that says âgood enoughâ when you know youâre built for more.
So come get weird with us.
The revolution starts with a single step â literally.
Whoâs in?
Drop a comment to be added the private group.
Cheers Gregor đŞ

Happy Saturday, Rebels! âď¸
Hope youâre all out there crushing this weekend and doing something that lights you up.
For me, today was the OUC Half Marathon. Wasnât the race I wanted, but exactly the one I needed. Rough sleep and a shaky fueling plan caught up with me out there, but I got it done. This was my longest run since November 2024 and the longest since the MCL tear, so Iâll take it. Legs actually feel solid afterward â thatâs the win. Proof the process is working, even when itâs messy.
Keep stacking those challenge miles, crew.
Tomorrow (Sunday) weâre keeping the streak alive with a chill recovery walk at 10:30. Then at 11:00 Iâve got a light workout on deck â easy recovery mode for me, but Iâll scale it up if anyone wants more spice. DM me if youâre in!
Finish the weekend strong and roll into the new week with your head high.
Cheers,
Gregor đ
