Rooted In Him tells the true story of a pastor’s journey back to the pulpit after a life‑altering stroke. When the pandemic brings isolation and traditional speech therapy becomes unavailable, recovery moves home. Through shared readings of the Bible and Shakespeare, a father and son spend a summer rebuilding voice, faith, and purpose—leading to a powerful return later that year.

This is a story of resilience, faith, family, and hope.

Casting Notice: "Rooted in Him" Based on a True Story

Weece Entertainment is seeking talented actors for a short faith-based drama, "Rooted in Him," filming on September 20th and 21st .

Roles:
Alan (Preacher): 50's, warm, funny, and charismatic preacher. Strong acting experience preferred.
Susan (Mother): 50's Supportive, strong, and caring. Looking for an actress who can bring depth and warmth to the role.
Anthony (Son): 30's, artist/actor, motivated, and dynamic. Strong chemistry with Alan (Preacher) a plus.

Compensation:
$150 per day
