I created this painting a couple of years ago, and the reason I chose to paint this particular art piece is that it reminded me of a painting that I grew up seeing in many homes. It truly inspired me, and the fact that I love Jesus Christ was the icing on the cake. The frame was given to me by my beautiful daughter Michelle.

I created it this piece from that with just pen and charcoal. Because I was drawn by it and what the Bible saids in Isaiah 53:1-3. He had no beauty or Majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him not worthy.
Please read the whole chapter of Isaiah 53 so you understand what Jesus Christ did on the cross, but also that his appearance is nothing like what mainstream media shows.

Redesigned my stainglass window. Before I had to open top and bottom. Now I can just open the top and not the bottom. Thanks to my hubby who put it together for me. I love it!!
