The Delta Police Department invites community members to attend our Blue Envelope Interactive Event, designed to help drivers with communication disabilities and their families better understand and prepare for traffic stop interactions.

This hands-on event will feature vehicles set up for mock traffic stops, where participants can observe and take part in realistic scenarios with officers in a safe, supportive, and educational environment. Our goal is to build confidence, improve communication, and strengthen understanding between law enforcement and community members.

Whether you are a driver, family member, caregiver, educator, or simply interested in learning more about the Blue Envelope Program, we encourage you to attend.

These second graders at Pike-Delta-York Local School District rocked their Buckle Up With Brutus shirts!

Buckle Up With Brutus is an educational initiative in Ohio designed to teach second- and third-grade students about the importance of wearing seat belts and using booster seats. Named after Brutus Buckeye, the mascot of The Ohio State University, the program combines interactive lessons with songs and videos to prevent traffic injuries—a leading cause of death for children

Starting this June, join us for another fun season of movies, popcorn, and community time with your local officers! We’ll have FREE popcorn for everyone, and we’re also working on bringing in a food vendor for some of the events! 🌭🍔🍿
