"If it wasn't for my mother's wonderful insurance I would be dead or in jail. If I wouldn't have been shipped in your nice neighborhood from Baltimore City, you tell me where I would be. I came down here broken and beaten after almost a decade of drug and alcohol abuse and here you are demonizing what me and my friends have accomplished with our lives. Is it fair? No, but when is life fair. See the thing is no matter what you say about me and my fellow alcoholic/drug addict friends and family, I know what I'm doing and how I'm living. I'm now a father, a friend, a son, a brother, a role model and all around good person. At least when I lay my head down on my pillow at night I can comfortably say I didn't condemn a group of people based on the things a few "rotten apples" have done.
