Palm Beach R.C Power Boaters

I would personally like to that this group of people who took time out yesterday to help get the site cleaned up and put us a lot closer to being able to race boats at the park again. This is the unselfish love that keeps me in the hobby. There is more work to be done but it is surely closer than it was last week.

As you all know, this page has not had any postings lately. Just a quick update, the Palm Beach R.C Boat Club and Broward Model Boat Club are working to try to get the racing site back open after a long Covid shut down. Thank you for your patience and look for postings as we head to some races.

It’s been a while since this page has had any action but the Palm Beach Club and Broward Model Boat Club are trying to get not only this page but the Palm Beach racing site back up after Covid shut down. Please be patient as we try to work through getting things back in order.

IMPORTANT UPDATE INFORMATION!

Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation has notified us that our lake will be open to NAMBA members ONLY, so that the number of boaters (at all the lake) will be limited for social distancing, no exceptions!

Please be sure to (continuously) display your current NAMBA membership card while you are at the lake.

Be safe, be smart, keep your distance!

Had a good turn out yesterday for testing boats for upcomming race in two weeks

Well, Y'all asked for it, YOU GOT IT!!! February 21st through the 23rd Space Coast Rudder Busters will be hosting the Biggest and Baddest Superboat Challenge yet!! Racers from all over the country will be attending hoping to capture the title of "Superboat Shootout Champion". The Melbourne lake is a Prime location for these boats to stretch their legs and really get going fast! Plenty of parking onsite. There will also be awesome raffles and amazing prizes and events. So, Bring your fastest boats you got and come going in on the fun!!!!

NOTE: This race is going to be a NAMBA Sanctioned race in District #3 ALL STANDARD CLASSES of GAS, NITRO, and FE boats will be offered and will count towards the District 3 High Points.
Race will consist of (4) rounds of standard heat racing with a incredible SUPERBOAT SHOOTOUT FINAL with the winner will receive a giant trophy and incredible prizes. And Bragging rights of course!!!
