We saw a large cloud of insects outside of the front entrance this afternoon. Upon further investigation we found a swarm of bees! We’re not sure if they were lost or if they just wanted to read ‘The Great Gats-bee” (ba-dum tss), but thanks to Jerry Dickrede and his wife (Dee), our newest patrons have a brand new home!

Here is our programming preview for next week!
Week 3 of summer read is shaping up to be another fun one:
+ Monday at 10am or 11am: Sticks and Stones storytime featuring stories about friendship and imagination followed by open play, rock sensory bins, and not-a-stick coloring pages
+ Tuesday at 2pm: DINOLYMPICS! We'll have a dinosaur fact relay race, break the ice with a beach ball game, toss some rings, shake our tails, and more!
+Wednesday at 10am: We'll be making stop motion movies in the CREATE SPACE (this space is not fully open, but we will be using some of the tech for this program!)
+Thursday at 1pm: Teens will make stone mosiacs with provided materials!
We can't wait for you to join us next week!
