Varsity Drops a Heartbreaker in Section 2 Semifinals

Thursday's game against Queensbury was a heartbreaker for the Bethlehem Varsity team. The score was tied until the top of the fifth inning, when Queensbury scored on a two run homerun.

Bethlehem lost despite out-hitting the Spartans five to four. Annalisea McClosky led the Eagles with two hits. Emerson Lewis-Yates, Julianna Doemel and Anna Franchini each collected one hit.

Lyla Hanlon took the loss for Bethlehem. The hurler went seven innings, surrendering two runs on four hits, striking out eight and walking one.
