CTK- The Way

The youth group volunteered to help with VBS this year. There was a time when these teens were the kids in VBS and now they help. What an amazing thing to see.

A lesson on discipleship. "It should be just as easy to share Jesus with others as you would share or recommend your favorite things."
Then a good game of if you know you know, which is what led to the planks and push ups. Haha

We did a lesson on fellowship where the kids had to match words like devotion, joyful worship, unity, prayer and growth, with the definition. They all worked together to get it done, and it gave them a better understanding on the importance of fellowship. Being together, worshipping together, praying together, all will help you grow together in your christian walk. They learned how making an effort to have Christian fellowship makes a difference. We all have times when we "don't have time or don't feel like" going to church, but making the effort regardless has never had a negative impact on my life.

The kids also enjoyed a game or two or three of UNO. The giant version. They also played where you can stack the +4 and +2. So instead of drawing two or four, you draw two or four × however many cards were laid down. It's fun to play this way until it happens to you, HA!
Grant was on fire and won 3 of the four games and Levi pulled out a win on the last game. Such a fun Uno game.

Small group tonight = last minute decision to go to Glenross to see the lights.

We took the youth group to Lehners Pumpkin Farm. The weather wasn't ideal but it was a lot of fun.

Basketball, root beer floats and a lesson on God being our refuge.❤️
