Sometimes a visit to the Library is about more than books!

This family came together from Columbus and Findlay, Ohio, as well as Texas and Colorado, to honor someone they loved dearly. ♥️🤍💙 Afterward, they set out on the Ostrandoors Tiny Door Trail because their loved one enjoyed scavenger hunts and would’ve loved this adventure.

They stopped by our Ostrander Branch Library to pick up maps, cross a few tiny doors off their list, and spend time sharing stories along the way. Moments like these are a beautiful reminder that love, memories, and family connections continue long after someone is gone.

The Delaware County Emergency Management Fans for Friends box fan drive is in full swing, and the Delaware County District Library is proud to once again serve as a collection site. Donations of new box fans can be dropped off at any of our five DCDL branches to help local residents stay safe and cool.

All of our fire and EMS stations from 8AM-7PM, and SourcePoint: Thrive after 55, Community Library - Sunbury, OH, Delaware County District Library, Wornstaff Memorial Public Library, during their normal operating hours, will continue to accept drop-off donations of box fans.

More than 100 kids and grown-ups learned about "Raising Rabbits!" earlier this week at the Liberty Branch Library with the educators from Bring the Farm to You. And - lucky us! - our rabbit friend Clover is still hanging out at the Liberty Branch until the end of the day Friday. You can stop by to visit her anytime we're open.
