Collegiate athletes in Iowa delivering new beds (thanks to Love,Inc’s initiative) AND rabbits for those kids who absolutely need both!

So lovely to join this collaboration between Love,Inc and college athletes! In Iowa!

When PL gives rabbits to a partner organization, we are often hands off. Why? Because the very personal giving and relationship best announces the validity of the message to a child. We want relationships and dialects to spring off of us while we watch from afar. This past week I received an unexpected note that a mission center in Columbus gave rabbits to children who came for a hot meal over their Spring break. Postures changed. Givers were humbled to participate. People connected over the truth that we are all Loved no matter what.

An amazing Spring sale wrapped up yesterday with over $1k more sold this spring than last. Over 2,500 bundled items thanks to your donations! Check out the Consign4Kids tab on our site and reach out for pickups to help pack the Back to School sale this August! I sure love my people and community. You are changing the world.

We capped off our fifth semiannual sale with Rhea Lana's of North Columbus yesterday and it was one for the books! Thank you to 1. My dream team kiddos and husband. and 2. All those who donated for the sake of PL kids and foster families. What a privilege to serve with those who serve! You are loved no matter what.

We have a little store at Camp because I said I would. Those yellow and blue bunnies were donated to us by the Project Lightwell Foundation, a nonprofit that provides stuffed animals to grieving children. Families who visit camp after losing a loved one can take one of these bunnies home at no cost. It is a small gesture of comfort during a difficult time.

We are very appreciative of the support from nonprofit partners like Project Lightwell who help us care for grieving families. 1 in 11 children will experience the death of a parent or sibling before the age of 18.

We are So So thankful to support and be a part of these race events. Because the guts of each one are good and true and sincere. Come walk or run on Mother’s Day!

Two full years in, and I’m reminded often that Project Lightwell isn’t a company that checks numbers and hopes for increase of sales. We are a charity awaiting the right kids to receive a friend who disrupts the dark in their space, even if for a moment - A memorable moment that cannot be stolen. This year, we are so grateful to say there are thousands of lives touched, some in hospitals, others in homeless shelters, and One rabbit this year was registered from “the basement.” This note was recently shared… and what a mighty gift to see the message of words and hope, filtering into families and hearts. Here’s to today and the upcoming year ahead. You are loved - no matter what.
