Driver Spotlight: Paige Coughlin 🔥

Returning to zMAX Dragway for the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals is a full-circle moment for Paige.

“This track is where I decided to explore racing door cars back in 2021, so being back here competing is an unreal feeling,” Coughlin said. “It’s an honor to pull underneath the tower and experience how amazing this facility truly is.”
For Paige, this weekend is about more than racing — it’s about family.

“I grew up around my family and the racetrack, so having them here supporting me in this new chapter of my racing career feels surreal.”

After spending the last few seasons competing in Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings, Paige says the experience helped shape her into the driver she is today.

“It was some of the toughest competition out there, and I learned how to really muscle the car down the racetrack because we weren’t racing on prepped surfaces. Meeting the fans was also an incredible experience.”

Now, she’s taking on Outlaw Street behind the wheel of Golden Child — her 1992 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z powered by a Harts-charged ProLine Hemi. After one clean qualifying pass and a tire shake in round two, Paige and her team remain confident heading into final qualifying.

“We learned a lot from that second pass, and I have full faith we’ll be ready to make a clean and fast final qualifying run.”

As one of the women competing in the sport, Paige hopes her journey can inspire others.

“It’s badass to be a woman in drag racing. I’m proud to be a female doing my best to kick ass in a male-dominated sport. My goal is to inspire the next generation of women who have a passion for the automotive industry.”

Paige also made sure to recognize the people behind her success.

“A huge thank you to my crew guys — Mike Rees, Justin Beaver, my husband Johnny Tolisano, and my dad Troy Coughlin Sr.. I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without these guys. They’ve been with me through thick and thin, and I always say we succeed as a team and try again another day as a team.”

She also thanked the partners helping make this opportunity possible, including NHRA and Right Trailers for creating the class, along with
ProCharger Superchargers, Team Isky :Isky Cams, and Quick Performance for supporting the series.

“We need to go into today with a clear mind and the determination to win. I know our team is capable — we just have to put all the pieces together.”
