Snowmageddon 2026 Update: Due to the declaration of a Level 3 Snow Emergency, The Rutherford Cafe will remain CLOSED on Monday 1/26 for the safety of our staff and customers.

Happy Holidays from all of us at The Rutherford Cafe! We have some special hours coming up in the near future:
We'll be closed on Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day (12/24 &12/25)
We'll also be closed on New Year's Eve (12/31) and from January 1st thru the 8th to take a little break.
Come get your Rutherford fix on the other days before we're closed for a whole week!

Not the update we wanted: Spectrum is also experiencing an outage, so now our phone service is down as well. We're still here, though, so come on into 9 E. William Street for a delicious breakfast or lunch sandwich!

Welp. We've got a bit of a plumbing situation at The Rutherford Cafe 😬 Unfortunately, that means we have to stay closed in the morning until we can get it resolved - we're hoping that we can be back up and running by lunchtime, but we'll keep you posted. 🤞

It's baaaaaaaaaaack: The Grateful Gobble is back for the season! Hearty Multigrain Bread, fresh Turkey, Cranberry Compote, Garlic Mayo, creamy Gouda cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, and Carrots - It's like Thanksgiving Dinner on a sandwich! If you haven't tried this one yet, you absolutely should 😋

It's time for a menu update!

New this fall: the Roast Beast Feast! Cranberry compote, Horseradish sauce, creamy Gouda Cheese, Lettuce, Onion, and tender Roast Beef on a soft Baguette 😋 Yum! Come try it out today!
