Update from National Assembly in Indianapolis
Yesterday I had the opportunity to participate in a focus group on end of life issues in the ED.
ENA is conducting a study on current practices related to end-of-life care in the emergency department. The information obtained will provide critical insight to help understand emergency nurses’ knowledge of, beliefs, and attitudes about end-of-life care.

Greetings from ENA National Assembly in Indianapolis!

Building on the great feedback we received at the 2013 General Assembly, ENA hired Association Management Center (AMC), an association consulting firm to assess ENA's governance structure, and provide ENA with recommendations related to enhancing and improving process for our important specialty organization. These key recommendations are designed to assist the ENA Board as it considers its strategic plan and operational directives. Conducting this assessment and following through on its recommendations will provide ENA with a solid plan for future growth and success.

The findings from AMC's assessment were presented at the 2014 General Assembly in Indianapolis on October 8, 2014.
