Our recent Thanksgiving celebration was a truly memorable experience, as we not only shared a feast but also commemorated Ursula's remarkable 90th birthday milestone. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, conviviality, and stories, evoking a profound sense of joy that comes from communal bonding. Seeing everyone surround Ursula with love reminded me why this establishment holds a special place in my heart. After over five years of devoted service at the Adult Day Care, it deeply saddens me to acknowledge that we will be closing our doors in just two weeks. I have been privileged to form meaningful connections with our exceptional residents, listening to their stories, sharing in their triumphs, and observing their faces light up during our days together. I have genuinely developed a deep affection for each and every one of them. Departing will not be easy, as this place has been more than a profession - it has been a familial community. I extend my sincere gratitude to all for welcoming me, trusting me, and filling my days with purpose, laughter, and memories I will treasure forever. Happy Birthday, Ursula, and Happy Thanksgiving to all. My heart is full of memories because of you.
