Keep your kids busy this summer during our Summer Experience programs! Wisconsin Educational Services Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WESP-DHH) will be offering two different programs, providing engaging, enriching opportunities for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Join us May 2, 2026 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in the Wisconsin Dells for a day of learning and connection just for WDBTAP families! This year’s event will feature a presentation by D'Jenne-amal & Michael Morris, parents of a child with CHARGE syndrome who bring both lived experience and professional insight to their work.

Learn Together, Play Together is a fun, hands-on weekend focused on building communication skills for children ages 0-5 and their families. Participants will learn practical strategies they can use at home while enjoying quality time together!

This event is hosted by Wisconsin Sound Beginnings in partnership with WESP-DHH.

In honor of the Olympic Winter Games being held in Italy, WDBTAP held its own Winter Olympics this year. We had a blast hearing about all of the fun ways our WDBTAP students enjoy winter!

Identifying vision concerns is key to getting the right referrals and specialized supports for deafblind children.

If a child is identified as deaf or hard of hearing, their vision should be tested right away and rechecked as they grow.

Calling all WDBTAP families!

There is still time to send in photos or videos of your kiddo enjoying winter in their favorite way (it doesn't have to be sports-related!) as we celebrate the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Every WDBTAP child or young adult who participates in the Olympic Event will be mailed a fun kit containing a light-up hockey game, winter hat, 3D-printed gold medal, and a book telling about the Olympic Games.
