DEVO. 09.22.26

“I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”” (Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- Jesus asks the question, “How Many?”
- How many will He find when He returns who still have faith?
- Faith like the woman that He just described.
- This woman was a widow who had been wronged.
- This widow was demanding justice!
- Verse 3 says that she came to a judge repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’”
- Repeatedly means that she kept coming back again and again!
- ‭Every time the judge came to his courtroom she was there!‭
- Every time he turned around, there she was again!
- It was borderline harassment!
- Jesus says in verse 7 that “Even he rendered a just decision in the end.”
- This judge is described as a judge “who neither feared God nor cared for people.”
- This woman was determined!
- She was going to win at all cost!
- She was tenacious!
- And Jesus says, when He returns, “How many will he find on the earth who have faith?” Faith like this woman!
- Faith that will not be denied!
- Faith that says, I am going to get what I came for, no matter what!
- Jesus uses this as an example for us “to show that we should always pray and never give up.” (Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭1‬)
- Does this describe you?
- What things have you given up on in prayer?
- What are the things which you are not as passionate about like you once were?
- Today is the day where you get your passion back!
- Get your determination back!
- Begin appearing in King Jesus’ courtroom day and night again!
- Refuse to be denied!
- It’s time to drive the righteous judge crazy!

YOM KIPPUR

“You forgave the guilt of your people— yes, you covered all their sins.”
‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭85:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- Today is Yom Kippur. It ends at sundown. This is the holiest day of the year!
- It’s a day to pause, reflect and inspect your life.
- Is there anything unclean.
- Anything that shouldn’t be there in the presence of a Holy God.
- It’s a day to repent, receive his forgiveness and thank Him for doing what we could not do.
- Because it’s more than just an inspection of our lives, it’s actually the day of judgment.
- Judgment can be a scary word but it isn’t.
- Judgment simply means that a judge has come to a decision. It’s a decision for or against someone.
- But for us as Christians, it’s not based on the good things that we have done.
- It’s all based on the work of our Messiah, Jesus, and what He has done for us.
- Romans 5:11 says, “We also rejoice in God [rejoicing in His love and perfection] through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received and enjoy our reconciliation [with God].”
- ‭‭Instead of a day of dread and fear, it is actually a day of rejoicing in the work of Jesus on the cross and in His resurrection!
- It was a perfect work!
- All your guilt is gone and All your sins are paid for!
- The judge has ruled in your favor based on the work of Jesus and He has judges “for you!”
- But we have to remember to receive His finished work on our behalf.
- Don’t just recognize what was done, No, receive it as payment in full for your sins!
- You were once lost and now you have been found.
- You were once condemned to the death penalty but you are now a free man or woman!
- You were cursed but now you are blessed!
- Receive it, celebrate it and by all means live out your freedom, everyday!
- God bless you, on this day of Judgment!

DEVO. 09.18.26

“On the day the LORD gave the Israelites victory over the Amorites, Joshua prayed to the LORD in front of all the people of Israel. He said, “Let the sun stand still over Gibeon, and the moon over the valley of Aijalon.””
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭10‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

- Joshua and his army was fight a huge battle.
- But scripture says that he prayed before the battle and he prayed in front of all the people of Israel.
- This was the secret to his success and if we can learn from his example it will be the secret to our success!
- It was a public prayer and it was a bold & somewhat impossible prayer!
- He said, “Let the sun stand still over Gibeon, and the moon over the valley of Aijalon.”
- Who prays like that?
- Only someone who has seen God do the impossible.
- The more that you pray and you see God do amazing things, the more your prayer life will grow!
- Joshua prayed this way because His God who parted the Red Sea could also stop the sun in the sky!
- His God who brought water from a rock could also stop the sun and moon!
- And verse 13 says, “So the sun stood still and the moon stayed in place until the nation of Israel had defeated its enemies!”
- Joshua dared to pray it so God did it!
- What kind of situations stand before you today that you have forgotten to pray for.
- What things have you already decided are immovable and impossible?
- What stronghold has held a tight grip on you?
- In Matthew 19:26 Jesus says, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- Man says impossible and God says “Possible!”‭
- Man says, there are giants in the land, and God says, “Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land…” (Joshua 1:6)
- What fear have you allowed to dominated your mind instead of letting the Spirit of God dominated your heart?
- Today is a day to Pray!
- Pray before your spiritual battle, during your battle and after your battle!
- Don’t let the word impossible take up space in your mind any longer!
- If God can cause the sun to stand still for Joshua, He can move the mountain of unbelief in front of you as well!
- Pray big, bold, audacious prayers today!
- Have a great weekend!

DEVO. 09.17.26

“Achan replied, “It is true! I have sinned against the LORD, the God of Israel.”
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭7‬:‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

- Sin always has consequences.
- As I look at the story of Achan’s sin, the thing that stands out is that he says, “…I saw a beautiful robe from Babylon…I wanted them so much that I took them. They are hidden in the ground beneath my tent...” (Joshua‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬)
- First he saw the robe.
- Then he let what he saw create a desire.
- That desire led him to take what he was instructed not to take.
- Then He hid it!
- Sounds very familiar to the first sin of eating the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden, doesn’t it?
- “The woman saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.” (Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬)
- She saw, she took and later they hid from the Lord!
- Sin has a very familiar pattern.
- Take note, it all began with what they chose to look at.
- James 1:15 says, “Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.”
- ‭‭Desire is created by what you choose to look at and dwell on.
- Philippians 4:8 says, “Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
- ‭‭First fix your eyes on things that are pure and Godly and then dwell on those things.
- Bounce your eyes off of things that are impure, unclean and unholy!
- Focus your eyes on Jesus and the Word of God today and He will lead you down the right path which leads to His blessings!
- Hebrews 12:2 teaches us to, “Run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith!”
- We need to Fix our eyes on Jesus!
- Always be alert and on guard to the deception and tactics of Satan!
- Stay focused on Jesus!

DEVO. 09.16.26

“But I would feed you with the finest wheat. I would satisfy you with wild honey from the rock.”” (Psalms‬ ‭81‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- Have you been through difficulties or hardship?
- Maybe you’ve walked through some times where you have questioned God or the way that He does things.
- Maybe you’ve walked away and have left God.
- Well, I want you to know that we have a God who redeems and restores.
- You may have left Him but He has not left you!
- In Deuteronomy 13:6, God says “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.””
- ‭‭He will never leave you or forsake you and He reminds us of that in the New Testament in Hebrews 13:5.
- Not only has He not left you but when you return to Him, He does not hold it against you! He restores you!
- In Psalm 81 , the Lord was talking to His people and encouraging them to return to Him.
- He says in Psalm 81:10, “I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.”
- ‭‭The same God who brought them out of bo***ge and slavery would film them with good things!
- But verse 11 says, “But no, my people wouldn’t listen. Israel did not want me around.”
- ‭‭How heartbreaking!
- But even still, He chases after His children!
- In verse 16, He says “I would satisfy you with wild honey from the rock.”
- God can bring sweetness out of hard situations and circumstances!
- Today is a day to be reminded that God can bring Honey from a rock!
- Does that sound impossible?
- That’s why He says it‭! He is a God who can do the impossible!
- He is a Supernatural God!
- He wants to do the extraordinary in your ordinary life!
- He can restore any person at any time!
- He can bring sweetness through your hard situation!
- He can bring joy through your sorrow!
- He can bring dead things to life!
- He is calling you to return to Him and trust Him with the impossible situations of your life!

DEVO. 09.15.26

“Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before.
(‭‭Joshua‬ ‭3‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

- The children of Israel, were stepping into uncharted territory.
- Scripture says “you have never been this way before!”
- It wasn’t a familiar path!
- It wasn’t steps that they had previously taken.
- They were heading into the promises of God!
- But how did they know when?
- The previous verse says, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you are to move out from your positions and follow it.”
- ‭‭ The Ark of the covenant carried the presence of the Lord!
- So, when they saw the presence of the Lord move, they were to follow!
- This is a spiritual principle for us.
- How do you know what things you are to step into?
- How do you know when to move out of your past and step into the new things of God?
- You look at where God is moving!
- You must become familiar with His presence!
- And when you see Gods activity and you sense the spirit of God moving, then you make a move!
- You let His presence lead the way because the presence of God will always lead you into the promises of God!
- You don’t have to be familiar with the path, you just need to be familiar with His presence!
- In the days ahead, God may be wanting to take you out of the familiar.
- He may be wanting to move you out of what you have always known.
- And the only way that you move is by following the presence of the Holy Spirit!
- The Spirit of God with show you the direction of God!
- The more familiar that you are with his presence, the more secure you will feel taking the steps of faith!
- He will lead you each step of the way!
