The 2026 Winter Season has come to an end, and it was a season to remember. Here are a few pictures of our teams if you have any that you would like to share we will gradly post them!

As always this year’s playoffs did not disappoint. With many games decided by single digits, the championship matchups were exciting, competitive, and a true display of the hard work these teams put in all season.

More importantly, the growth of our players was evident. The teams showed the results of the extra effort our coaches dedicate to developing our athletes, teaching fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

To our coaches and parents, thank you for your time, commitment, and support of the DRT Thunder league. Your involvement is what builds this program and provides opportunities for our youth to grow both on and off the court.

Without your dedication, this league would not be possible for our children.

We are proud of every player, every team, and the culture our community continues to build together.

Sometimes our league is short on coaches, but we take pride in stepping up so that every child still has the opportunity to play.

This year we needed a coach for our 5th/6th grade girls division, and I gladly stepped in.

I couldn’t be prouder of this group. They never quit, never stopped working, and believed in each other all season long. After starting 0–6, they kept improving week by week and finished the season as Division Champions.

Watching these young athletes grow in confidence, teamwork, and determination has been incredibly rewarding. Congratulations Lady Panthers!

Watching this group of young men grow on and off the court has been very rewarding. We are extremely proud of the effort, discipline, and character they continue to show. Congratulations boys very well deserved!

I’m extremely proud of this group of young men. I’ve had the privilege of coaching most of them in the offseason since Kinder and 1st grade.

This is a very special group — talented, committed, and hungry to compete.

Watching them grow not just as players, but as young leaders, has been a blessing.

From running a youth basketball league and coaching our youth to now running for school board, it’s been a very busy year, but my service and commitment to our community never stops.

This journey hasn’t been easy, but through every obstacle I’ve stayed committed to creating a positive culture for our youth and building a stronger future for the next generation.

I’m truly grateful for the trust, encouragement, and support our community continues to show.

My commitment remains the same: work hard, stay present, serve with humility, and always put our students, teachers, parents, and future first.
