South Texas Shootouts

Dylan Thompson and Chase Hux get the net to sweep the South Texas shootout championship on lake LBJ with 57.69! Congratulations to everyone who fished and safe travels. Stay tuned for 2026 dates.

Weigh in will be 2:00 to 2:30.

$300 entree fee

I’ll be at McNair park 3-4 pm Friday to collect entree fee, if that doesn’t work for you let me know and we can arrange a time.

Service time!

Tomorrow starts the first Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing event of the year. If anyone wants to jump in last second now’s the time, $20 per person winner takes all.

Tournamnt dates April 25-26

Official practice Friday April 24th
(tournamnt participants only, team cannot fish out of separate boats for official practice day)

LBJ is off limits Monday-Thursday prior to the tournamnt.

McNair park is the location for weigh-in but trailering is allowed.

Docking your boat overnight is permitted Friday night and Saturday night. Docking is off limits Thursday night.
