Personally, I say absolutely! Dance gets your heart rate up, challenges your coordination, improves balance, builds endurance, and before you know it, you've worked up a sweat without staring at a treadmill.
One of my favorite things is teaching a routine and watching people go from "I can't do this" to confidently making the moves their own. Fitness doesn't have to look one way. If it gets you moving, challenges your body, and brings you joy, it counts.
So tell me... does dance count as a workout in your book? ππΏ
This is one of the class's favorite routines, and honestly, it's one of my favorites to watch because everyone brings their own personality, energy, and style to it. No two people dance it exactly the same, and that's what makes it so special.
I always tell my classes that this workout is for YOU. I'm just the facilitator. So have move your body, have fun, and dance how you feel ππΏ β¨

Some people have to chase their dreams without much support, and my heart goes out to them because having family in your corner makes such a difference.
Through every adventure, every new venture, every fitness class, challenge, and crazy idea, my family has always stood beside me or behind me, cheering me on. And my sister? She is one of my biggest supporters. No matter what I'm involved in, she always does her best to show up, encourage me, and celebrate the journey with me.
One thing I've learned is that fitness is about so much more than exercise. The relationships we nurture impact our mental fitness, emotional fitness, and ultimately our overall well-being. Having people who support you, encourage you, and remind you that you're not alone can make life's challenges feel a little lighter and its victories even sweeter.
Cherish those special people in your lifeβthe ones who help make this journey called life more enjoyable. The ones who celebrate your wins, pick you up when you stumble, and simply show up.
Today, I'm grateful for my sister and my family. β€οΈ

My sister and I decided to combine households, and one of my favorite parts has been all the little moments in between. The random dance sessions, the workouts, the laughs, and the memories we're creating together. β€οΈ
Life is busy, so I'm grateful for the extra time we get to spend together doing the simplest things.

I do.
Fitness teaches you that growth takes time, consistency matters more than motivation, and you're capable of more than you think. Every workout is a reminder that hard things become easier when you keep showing up.
