We are excited that Loie Ruhl Couch, RN, CIC has retired from BJC and can now give Excellentia more time for Infection Prevention consulting and speaking engagements. Loie has 3 new presentations geared up this 1st quarter 2026. The first two will be in January. Stay tuned for announcements on (1) Candida auris-Is It the New MRSA? and (2) Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilization.

Challenging Year 2025- Looking Forward though!
Excellentia Advisory Group has had it's challenges this past year. We had a large final client payment intercepted by a hacker. This hacker somehow copied the email that we sent to the surgery center, duplicated it to look very real and told the client, "Instead of the ACH account that I told you about, use this updated ACH instead". The client thought it was real. All monies was lost by client and Excellentia.
In May 2025, we suffered a breach of our website with malicious malware. Once our site was fixed we added on 2 more anti-virus software companies. We continued to be bombarded by bots and malicious viruses that have totally destroyed the functionality of the website as of today's writing.
We apologize to our clients for any problems that you have had in signing into your account.

Our advice to you is to be sure that your software version is always up to date. Make sure that you have anti-virus software on each of your machines. Make sure that your website host is PCI compliant and has your website covered with their anti-virus software. If you don't have a professional IT organization managing your computers, get one! 2025 has proven that the bad guys are staying ahead of technology and it is getting harder and harder to do business in this tech world.

We have good news though! We are just about finished in taking down the old website, just like 2025, and introducing our new website in a totally different programming language with less vulnerability than the old website software.
We will let you know when 2026 website is active. Until then, keep smiling!

Cathy & Roger have been trying to retire for the past year but find that we are continually being pulled back in. This is alright because we are basically work-aholics and love to work with our clients. Working in retirement is good for both the body and the mind.
