What did the early church get right?
This Wednesday night, our Summer Series continues at Flint church of Christ with Roger Campbell speaking on how “They Took Sin Seriously”
In a world where sin is often ignored, excused, or redefined, the early church reminds us that following Christ means seeing sin the way God sees it.
Join us June 10th at 7:00 PM as we continue looking at the example of the early church and what it teaches us about following Christ today.
During our Wednesday night Summer Series, our Kindergarten through 5th grade students will also be combined into one class for a special series focused on Christian character. Each week, the children will study a different character trait, learn why it matters to God, and talk about practical ways to live it out through engaging lessons and hands-on activities.
They will also enjoy weekly trivia review games with questions from last year’s Bible lessons, making this a fun, interactive, and meaningful learning experience for our children.
We’d love for you and your family to be with us!

The home was God’s idea.
Before governments existed…
Before the church was established…
God created the home.
And when we follow His guidance for our families, marriages, and homes, we build on the foundation He designed from the beginning.

Some things matter.
Some things are urgent.
Some things deserve our attention.
But nothing is more important than your relationship with Jesus Christ.
This lesson reminds us it’s time to wake up spiritually, stop pushing faith down the road, and walk properly before God.

We’d love for you to be with us!

Serving God should never feel like a burden we are forced to carry. It is an opportunity we have been blessed to receive.
As Christians, we should be honored that God would allow us to be part of His work, humbled that He would use imperfect people like us, and happy to serve because of what Christ has done for us.

Are all churches basically the same?
A lot of people say yes.
But Jesus didn’t build confusion and division.
He called His followers to unity grounded in truth.
Real unity isn’t pretending differences don’t matter
It’s being united in the teaching of Christ and His Word.

Exciting things are happening at Flint Church of Christ!
Our construction project is adding more space to help provide room for Bible classes, learning, and spiritual growth for all ages.
But you don’t have to wait for the new classrooms to get connected. Bible class is already a great opportunity to study God’s Word, ask questions, and grow together.

God’s majesty is not hard to find if we are willing to look.
So what makes God’s name majestic?
Think through the options, then watch the full sermon for the answer: https://www.flintcoc.org/sermons/how-majestic-is-your-name
Why does doctrine matter?
Because the church doesn’t belong to us.
It belongs to Jesus Christ.
We don’t get to redefine truth, reshape His church, or teach whatever we want.
If Christ is truly the head of the church, then His Word must be our authority.
