We had the pleasure of visiting with Mr Ben Roberts today and helped his immense family celebrate his 103rd birthday!

Sergeant Benjamin F. Roberts (ASN: 16150207), United States Army Air Forces, was captured by German forces on or about October 14, 1943 and was held as a prisoner of War until his return to U.S. Military control at the end of hostilities in May 1945.

Mr Roberts and his family graciously allowed The American Legion Post 15 Family to be a part of his celebration. We learned about his years of dedication, his years of being a POW in Germany 1943-1945.

Such an amazing gentleman, and still ready to take on the mission of the day. We extend a special Thank You to Mr Roberts and family for their kindness!

He even led the motorcycle parade in his motorized wheelchair.

The American Legion Post 15 will not conduct BINGO on the 4th of July so workers and guests can enjoy the holiday. Happy Birthday America!
