Decatur, the recount has concluded, and we are delighted to say that Mark has officially won by 20 votes. DeKalb County will certify the results Monday. Thank you again for your support, and we look forward to Commissioner Arnold's great work. More to come!

I am honored by the trust Decatur voters have placed in me to serve as their City Commissioner for District 1, Post A and am eager to get to work.

I ran for this office because I wanted to continue my decades-long commitment to a Decatur where everyone can thrive. I'm excited to get to work building a stronger, more inclusive community.

As I said last night, nothing of significance is ever done by one individual. Thank you to everyone who supported my campaign, to Katie, who graciously congratulated me, and to all who participated in our democratic process. Together, we will move Decatur forward.

Today is Election Day, Decatur! Thank you to my volunteers, donors, meet-and-greet hosts, forum hosts, event attendees, and other supporters. This is about Decatur, and where we're heading, and how we can weather any storm that comes our way.

Here we are: the day before Election Day. Being a candidate for city commissioner is the natural evolution of my more than 25 years of service to Decatur. I love this city, and I sincerely believe we can make Decatur what it's meant to be. I humbly ask for your vote tomorrow. Thank you.
