We are so excited to kick off another amazing year in the Medical Academy! We hope each of you had a fun, relaxing, and memorable summer, and we can't wait to see what this school year has in store.
Did you spend your summer gaining healthcare experience? 🩺 Whether you attended a nursing camp, participated in a healthcare program, served your community, took on a leadership opportunity, volunteered, or anything in between—we'd love to celebrate you!

We are so excited to congratulate Sara Alasri on signing with Decatur Morgan Hospital today! 💙💚
Sara is our first Medical Academy student to sign on to work in the Emergency Room as a technician before graduation—what an incredible accomplishment! We are beyond proud of her dedication and heart for serving others.
Sara will attend Calhoun Community College to pursue nursing while also participating in the DMH apprenticeship program. Through this amazing opportunity, her education will be paid for, she’ll earn money while completing clinicals, and she’ll have a job waiting for her after graduation.
Your future is BRIGHT, Sara!!! Keep working hard—we can’t wait to see all you accomplish!
