All God's Children Preschool

Well water day could've been warmer, but we still had fun! We ate popsicles and goldfish for snack, played in the new pool, the splash pad, water table, with the sq**rt guns and water balloons. It was so much fun!

Four snack, we made a tent with Graham crackers, stuck it together with marshmallow fluff, used a chocolate bar for a sleeping bag and teddy grahams to sleep inside. Basically it was s'mores, but half the fun was building it!

For day 2 of camping week, we played in the gym, made our own snack, played with the camping toys, painted a tent in art, made Father's day cards, cut out things to pack for camping, read Biscuit Goes Camping, and danced with scarves to music. What a day!

For our 3rd week of summer preschool, we are learning about camping! We played outside, then ate Nilla wafers for snack, played the castanets for music, read Pete the Cat Goes Camping an painted handprint campfire for art. During playtime, we played in tents, dressed up like a bear, went fishing, sat around a fire and toasted marshmallows for smores. So much fun!

Last day for "under the sea" week! We had water day with bikes, the pool, splash pad, sq**rt guns, water balloons and water table. The weather wasn't too bad either! Wonderful end to a wonderful week. Next week will be camping!

Bring the littles in for some zoo-rific fun at Story Time!

For snack we mixed white frosting with blue food coloring and spread it on a graham cracker. Then we hammered a baggie with a graham cracker inside. We dumped the "sand" on the frosted graham and added goldfish. It was fun and delicious!

Day 2 of under the sea week! Today we played outside, made our own snack, read Fish Is Fish at circle, played the maracas for music, counted ocean animals for seatwork and painted a paper bowl turtle for art. Tomorrow is water day!

Next week is FAMILY NIGHT in Central Park! Spread the word about this exciting evening of kid-friendly activities!
