The Owl Cafe at XEO

Update on our cafe: City construction is still extremely problematic, with construction workers closing not just the far side of the street but also blocking parking directly in front of the building. The construction workers have now resorted to putting out cones to reserve parking for themselves. We are very much looking forward to this being finished!

Good day for warm breadbowl and hot soup!

The cafe is currently paused; however, we still have fresh roasted coffee. The taproom opens at 3 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday and 11AM on Thursday through Saturday. We are open at noon on Sunday. Stop in and grab a bag of our in-house, fresh-roasted coffee!

While our Cafe is currently paused until the construction across the street is finalized, our owner and brewmaster/roastmaster will be serving lunch from 11-2PM every Thursday and Friday. Today's Special - Clam Chowder Bread Bowls! We also have gourmet sandwiches, house made rootbeer, and more. (And yes, we still have Muffulettas!)

After his week, we are pausing the cafe until the construction across the street is finalized. Brewing operations will not change, and we will be open at 3:PM Tuesday and Wednesday, and 11AM Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. You will still be able to get coffee any time we are open. Hope to see everyone around. We will still keep this page active with news and updates.

Hey everyone, we can no longer compete with the dire parking circumstaces on-going from the construction across the street. We are going to throw in the towel and pause the Owl Cafe until construction is finalized. Our last day will be February 27th.

XEO Brewing will remain open, and those hours will be announced soon, but we hope to start opening at 2 PM weekdays and 11 Friday and Saturday.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to all who stopped in to try our little cafe experiment -- especially our loyal XEO regulars who have been its driving force. You will still be able to get fresh roasted coffee from the brewery anytime our doors are open.

Once construction across the street is finalized, we hope to bring the cafe back in some form.

Our very first review didn't quite go as planned. We also don't recommend the Pizza rolls with coffee ... but that's a personal preference. I'll add that our bathrooms are rarely dirty, unless she used the porta-potty at the construction site across the street. 🤔
