The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) has announced that 2026-27 FAFSA applications submitted after Thursday, April 23, 2026, will NOT be eligible for the State of Illinois MAP Grant for the 2026-27 academic year.

The Decatur Illinois - City Government’s Economic Development team recently collected input on future improvements and additions to the Oakwood Business District.

This area includes Oakland Avenue near Millikin University, between West Main Street and West Wood Street.
