One thing I’ve learned in real estate…

It’s never just a house.

It’s the buyer who has been looking for months and finally finds the one.

It’s the seller who is nervous about whether their house will sell.

It’s the phone call that starts with, “Okay, I have a question…” and somehow turns into a whole conversation.

It’s negotiating, problem-solving, answering a million questions, checking in, calming nerves, celebrating good news, and sometimes figuring things out right alongside your clients.

And honestly? I love that part.

I don’t want to just unlock doors and hand you a set of keys. I want to actually be someone you can call when you don’t know what in the world you’re supposed to do next.

That’s the part of this job I didn’t fully understand when I started, and probably the part I’ve come to appreciate the most. 🏡

A Little Tuesday Realtor® Reality:

Sometimes real estate is showings, contracts, and closing days. 🏡

And sometimes it’s:
• Answering a text while making dinner
• Checking the MLS at 10PM, because “I’ll just look real quick” 😂
• Trying to coordinate 5 different schedules
• Driving around looking at houses and somehow calling it work 😂
• And occasionally wondering how there are STILL 47 things to do after you checked off the 47 things you had to do yesterday.

It can be busy. It can be unpredictable. It’s not always glamorous.

But I genuinely love getting to help people through one of the biggest decisions they’ll make.

Don’t wait until you find “the one” to talk to a lender.

If you’re thinking about buying a house, even if you’re just browsing Zillow right now, getting pre-approved first can save you a LOT of frustration.

A pre-approval helps you:
✔️ Know what price range actually fits your budget
✔️ Understand what your monthly payment could look like
✔️ Move quickly when the right house pops up
✔️ Know what loan programs you may qualify for

And honestly? You don’t have to be ready to buy tomorrow. Sometimes the best time to talk to a lender is before you think you’re ready.

Take a few minutes to walk around your property and check your roof, gutters, windows, doors, trees, and fences and gates.
