Lake Bridgeport will always be one of my favorite places in Wise County.
The sunsets never get old, the scenery is beautiful, and it's one of those hidden gems that still feels peaceful compared to many North Texas lakes.

A few fun facts:
🌊 Lake Bridgeport covers 11,954 surface acres at its conservation level and has about 129 miles of shoreline.

As of today, the lake is sitting at approximately 831.4 feet above mean sea level, about 85.7% full.

🏗️ Construction of the lake began in 1929 and was completed in 1931. It continues to provide water supply, flood control, and recreation for North Texas.

Whether you're boating, fishing, surfing, or just watching the sunset, there's something special about Lake Bridgeport. ❤️
