Join other White Oak Hills neighbors this Saturday with your gloves, pruners, loppers, and saws to help save dozens of trees in Delano-Line Park currently endangered by choking ivy. Meet at 10 a.m. at the Dusty Ln. gazebo. Come on out and show some Valentine’s love to our park’s trees this Saturday!

On Saturday, February 14, a crew of dedicated volunteers will join together with our gloves, pruners, loppers, and saws to save dozens of trees in Delano-Line Park that are endangered by choking ivy. Let’s start our Valentine’s Day by showing some love for the trees that give our neighborhood its name. We’ll gather on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. under the gazebo at the corner of Alston Dr. and Dusty Ln. Register at the address provided!

We love neighbors – not trash! Bring your gloves, and the county will provide everything else we need to clean up White Oak Hills on Saturday, May 10. Bring your kids and next door neighbors and meet at the Dusty Lane pavilion at 10 AM. Questions? Email andrewandrle [at] gmail [dot] com.

We spent months building the plan, now we get to work to implement our vision. Please join us for an exciting meeting to get plugged into the future of Friends of Delano Line Park. We will start setting the trajectory of the next year as we work towards providing a safe, inclusive, and accessible space for respite in nature, environmental stewardship, and neighborhood connection.

Park Pride is eager to hear community feedback on proposed improvements for two of our neighborhood parks. Join your neighbors at the second public meeting on Feb. 26 at 6:30PM to see detailed renderings and to share your opinions!

The rain should hold out for us, so join your neighbors this Saturday morning to remove ivy from our park’s biggest and most love-worthy trees!

Even if you can’t attend the annual tree save workday on Feb. 15, you can loan or donate hand pruners, gloves, and loppers for our volunteers to use! Please label your loaned tools and drop them off by Friday, Feb. 14, on the front porch of 3124 Alston Dr.
