One of our pillars in Precious Kids Foundation is “We Empower” and we extend that not only to the kids we serve but also their guardians … the widows and single mothers.
Through our We Empower pillar, guardians receive tools, skills, and hope.
This smile is a reminder that women empowerment transforms lives — one family at a time.
💃🏽In 2026, I CHOOSE to BELIEVE GOD, I CHOOSE to count Him FAITHFUL, and to REJOICE in HIM

We met Shaluwa in June 2021 in Mayuge (Eastern Uganda )during a visit to one of our medical children. She was brought on a motorbike by her grandmother, who had been caring for her alone.
Shaluwa had lived with a chronic bone infection for over three years, affecting her left arm and leg. The wounds released pus and made walking extremely painful and difficult. An orphan abandoned by her mother, her grandmother could not afford the medical care she urgently needed.
But donors of Precious Kids Foundation stepped in. With their support, Shaluwa underwent two life-changing surgeries at CoRSU Hospital, followed by a long healing journey.
Today, Shaluwa is healed, back in a boarding school, and full of hope.
Inspired by the doctor who treated her, she now dreams of becoming an orthopaedic surgeon.
This is what happens when YOUR compassion and donations are in action. THANK YOU
Two months before we met Christine in Jinja (Eastern Uganda) in May 2021, she had developed a fast-growing mass in her mouth that began deforming her face. An orphan living with her grandmother, Christine had no access to the urgent medical care she desperately needed.
Thanks to the dedicated donors of Precious Kids Foundation, Christine was immediately taken for a biopsy, which confirmed an aggressive Burkitt Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Chemotherapy was started right away at Mulago Cancer Institute — and within just afew days, her body responded remarkably, with the tumor begining to reduce
Christine continued treatment for several months, and the tumor completely disappeared — revealing her beautiful, dimpled smile once again.
Today, Christine is back in boarding school, full of life, and dreaming of becoming a nurse.
This is the power of your donations. This is love in action.
Meet Lynette. She has been raised by her grandmother since losing her mother at just 2 years old. With many other kids depending on her grandmother’s small farming income, paying Lynette’s school fees was nearly impossible.
Before joining the Precious Kids Foundation PenPal Program, Lynette was clinically depressed and withdrawn— she rarely smiled, and her dreams felt far away.
But today, everything has changed. With the support of our Precious Kids Donors, she is now in boarding school, happily excelling in school, smiling again, and confidently pursuing the things she loves — fashion, music, and dance. She dreams of becoming a doctor one day, and she’s well on her way THANKS to your sponsorship.
Your support gives kids like Lynette the opportunity to heal, grow, and embrace a brighter future. THANK YOU!
What began as pneumonia quickly turned into a serious kidney illness. Day by day, Nelson’s condition worsened, and his parents watched helplessly as he swelled up and struggled for his little life — simply because they could not afford the treatment he desperately needed.
But donors stepped in through Precious Kids Foundation. And on April 23rd, 2022, Nelson was admitted to Nsambya Hospital, where his journey to healing began. After days in the ICU, his breathing finally stabilized.
Today, Nelson continues with daily medications and monthly doctor checkups — he is now in boarding school, smiling and hopeful again.
Thank you to our Precious Kids Donors who gave him a second chance at life.
Born in Kaliro District (Eastern Uganda) to a single mother, Christopher’s life changed in early 2021 after a football injury turned into a severe skin-eating infection that ate away all the surrounding flesh, exposing his tibia bone.
With no financial means for the urgent treatment he needed, his mother did everything she could — even turning to local remedies — just to ease his pain.
In October 2021, compassionate donors through Precious Kids Foundation stepped in and funded his life-saving surgery at CoRSU Hospital.
After 4months hospitalization, multiple surgeries including a large skin graft, he started 6 months of healing journey and frequent doctor visits. Christopher is now healthy, strong, and back in boarding school along his Precious Kids Family.
This is the power of commitment and generosity from our donors — turning pain into healing and giving a child his future back. THANK YOU!
Because of your donations, kids like Esther are able to go to boarding school and dream big.
Esther lost her father at a tender age, her mother — relying on small-scale farming and washing clothes in the neighborhood — struggled to keep her three kids in school.
But in 2020, everything changed when Esther was brought to Precious Kids Foundation and through our Child Penpal Program, she was connected to a fellow 9yr old and has since been sponsored by
this loving family from Switzerland who believed in her future and even travelled to Uganda to visit her in person.
Today, Esther is thriving because someone chose to donate and support for her educational endeavors and over all Wellbeing.
We are deeply grateful for everyone who supports our Precious Kids. You are raising future leaders who will one day transform their families, communities, and the nation.
In September 2019, on the last day of our
3-Day medical camp in Jinja, Eastern Uganda, while closing the camp after treating over 5,000 patients, Marvin was brought in, delayed by a boat crossing from the island he stayed to main land camp site.
His body was severely swollen, due to kidney failure and urgently needed dialysis, he had reached a point of utter despair — unable to breath well and even considering taking rat poison to end his life at just 12yrs old.
But everything changed when he came to Precious Kids Foundation, he was immediately transported to ICU in the capital city and received the treatment he urgently needed made possible through the generosity of donors. His body slowly regained its normal size, and a loving volunteer who had come with is to the medical camp took him up for continued care and today he continues with daily medications and monthly doctor visits to manage his condition and prevent kidney transplant.
This is love in action started by donors like you and continued by the unwavering support of his sponsor — Marvin’s life has completely transformed.
When baby Tonda came to Precious Kids Foundation, he was just 5 months old with no natural passage for stool and had to rely on a colostomy without a colostomy bag except towels the mother constantly wrapped.
He underwent several surgeries for colostomy reversal and a long healing journey — Now, he has fully recovered, growing healthier, and is now full of life.
Today, baby Tonda is even attending school.
Donors like YOU donated, supporting his complicated 16-month-long medical journey of colostomy reversal, and because of that generosity, Tonda received the life-saving surgery he needed and the chance to p**p like any normal child without loosing all his electrolytes through the colostomy. He has now graduated from baby class to Top class, pursuing an education and brighter future .
