What does community look like for you?
My self-love journey started as a child but my awareness was heightened at church. The commandment that says love others like you love yourself had me questioning 🤨 if people really loved themselves. It was interesting seeing certain relationships and asking my mom why they acting like that haha 😆. God gave me wisdom about that commandment to love others like you love yourself and that has kept me steadfast in this self-love journey. So if you’ve experienced love from me give all the glory be to God! Hallelujah 🙏🏾 ( Cause it’s not always easy being kind but that commandment gets me back in order all the time.)

Self-love is more than self-care!
It’s choosing to respect your own needs, protect your peace, honor your boundaries, and pay attention to the way you speak to yourself.
It’s making decisions that reflect the belief that your well-being matters, not just when it’s convenient, but in your everyday life.
Self-care can be part of self-love. But self-love goes deeper. It’s how you treat yourself, advocate for yourself, and show up for yourself.
Wellness in motion can look like laughter, connection, and being fully present in a joyful moment.
DeShona and Gbubemi love finding joy through laughter and creating space for lighthearted moments. Joy deserves a place in how we care for ourselves.
