Mark your calendars for Friday, Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m., when the Greek trio StarWound will be performing at Kaeuper Hall in Perkinson Music Center. This band is only performing at a few universities in the United States, and we’re one of them.
Their concert, titled Interiors, delves into the effects of isolation and social disruption from the COVID-19 pandemic through poetry and song. It includes original compositions with lyrics written by faculty from the universities the band is traveling to, and during the concert some of our very own Millikin students will read their poetry while StarWound plays.
This event is sponsored by the School of Writing, Languages & Cultures and the School of Music. It is free and open to the public!
