Snow in the mountains

Having elbow surgery so instead of paintings here is some food art. First pic I made Mexican pizzas from a restaurant I learned to re-create from tortilla flats when we lived in the quad cities. Second is from my son Ryan how they serve cheesy nachos in Japan! They just split open the bag side ways with chips covered in a cheese sauce and I’m assuming they heated in a restaurant salamander. You stir it up and eat with chop sticks

Been too busy to post but expect forest scene's and possibly deer wild animal paintings. Hubby Dave will be really busy next Spring cutting back over growth shrubs etc. Also have to re-stain Two large decks and seal them, not the kinda painting I like. We haven't been home owners since we sold our big house when I was going through health issues so crazy to be new home owners when your both 60+. But at least I am now a sane person again 😉

Finally a house I wanted we actually got! Now I'm not a CRAZY stressed out woman, we also had only one other couple competing with us this time. For people that know me the house is in South Shores close to my sister and lake! Huge kitchen for Dave and I since that's what we like to do together. Apparently we now own half acre of forest. Not exactly thrilled with Illinois ticks but we will handle it! ☺️

I will be taking a break from social media to care of me during a stressful time. Once the dust settles I will be back! Happy painting!
