Open mic tonight 7-10pm. Free. Sign ups start at 6:30pm. Y’all come and enjoy original songs. We’ve got coffee and/or beer.

I am grateful for the people that make this place special. It’s awesome to watch the love and support get passed to strangers that become friends. Friends who put their arms around strangers and give support and love and acceptance. I’ve watched this family grow and everyday I am grateful to get to be apart of it. They say be the change you want to see in the world. That’s a lot of pressure but taking it one day at a time has produced some magical results. One small kindness. One cup of coffee. One baked good. Thank you Preston Woodruff for being who you are and sharing your talents with us. You’re the best of us!

No jam tonight but for the first pot of coffee is this delicious Ethiopian Duromina roasted by Dancing Goats Coffee Kaldi's Coffee Roasting Co. the second and third pots of coffee will go back to our usual Sidamo Guji.

Today marks 9 years in the building!
While I am proud of how far we've come and how we've overcome every obstacle we still struggle to get out of the red and into the green. We have one more year on our lease and i would like to make it the best year yet!

The community has kept us open.
Sure our grit, positive attitudes, and dedication to making your day better has helped but it's the individuals who have given back to us that have kept the dream alive. We had several fundraisers this year get canceled or postponed and that has hurt. We still have a go fund me up and we will lean into that for a week or so to keep from going under. Every bit helps.

I am humbled that this place means so much to some of you.
I won't give up. I'll collect some gratitude and do my best to pay it forward.
