On January 18th St. Thomas parishioners gathered together to celebrate Cecelia Wessbecher's 105th birthday. What a fun time everyone had. A big thank you to St. Thomas' Hospitality committee and Cecelia's family for pulling off the surprise.

Thank you to all who helped with decorating and donating flowers to make St. Thomas look so beautiful during this Christmas season.
Mass schedule for Holidays:
Christmas Eve...5pm
Christmas Day...10am
Jan 1st (Holy Day)...9:15am
St. Thomas' office will be closed...December 25th and December 26th and also January 1st (Holy Day).
Regular office hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-1pm.
Yay! We have a choir! Thank you to those who have volunteered their time and voices and 1 trumpet.They are going to be awesome!
(Because of limited rehearsals no additional choir members are needed.)
Last chance to make your resevation for our 100th Anniversary lunch at HALL520. Lunch will start at 12:30pm, July 20th. Reservations must be made by July 6th. Call 217-877-4146 or drop by the rectory. Reservation forms are on table on the porch. Fill it out then put a check in with it and drop it the mail slot.
$15 adult and $7 for child under 10.
We need a special choir for this very special celebration. Singers from other parishes are invited to join in.
If you are interested in joining St. Thomas' 100th Anniversary choir please call Francie Brown 217-620-5038 or show up on Sunday, July 6th at 11:30am after mass. Come help add a special touch to our celebration mass on July 20th. Bishop Papocki will be presiding and also be concelebrated by many former priests. This will be at our regular 10am mass.
Scam alert! If you see on Facebook a notice about St. Thomas school is having an alumni celebration and is selling t-shirts, it is an old post. Please do not respond to it. This has happened before. The only celebration scheduled this year is St. Thomas' 100th Anniversary, on July 20, 2025. This is a parish celebration which includes the school.
