Coming Home Christmas Trees

There are few things on the farm that are more precious than a new, healthy calf. Meet our latest arrival!

We had intended to share photos of beautiful peach blossoms this week, in anticipation of the start of Spring. Well...we're still sharing beautiful blossoms...but with a slight twist on the "Spring" part. Hoping at least some of those blossoms will make it through tonight's expected freeze. Really ready for Spring!!

I (Leslie) love winter. Jamie?...Not so much. 😉
But there’s something about this season — when everything green goes to sleep and the pace slows — that feels like a needed pause. Even Jamie will acknowledge it's a time to rest a bit.

So after Christmas each year, we take a little break on the farm. We empty the barn, pull down the lights, and reflect on what worked, what we learned, and we plan what's next.

That’s why things have been quiet around here lately. But spring is close, and planting season is already underway. It's time to dig back in!

Today was a day to mark and remember! We got to host the whole first grade class from Meigs North Elementary at the farm ...and they made it a blast! The laughter, curiosity, and joy from these kids truly made our day. ❤️
