Happy Mother’s Day to the most amazing woman & mom! God knew what I’d need when He chose me for you. I am honored that I get to call you mom. You are a treasure. I love you.
17 years ago today, we said “I do.”
And over these 17 years, we’ve walked through mountaintops and valleys together. We’ve faced ups and downs, health scares, hard seasons, battles that tried to shake us, and moments that tested everything we thought we knew about love and commitment.
But through it all, one thing has remained constant: Jesus has been the center and foundation of our marriage.
Not perfection. Not ease. Not a fairytale.
Grace. Faith. Forgiveness. Commitment. And God’s covering over us even in the moments we felt weak.
I’m grateful that after everything, we are still here. Still choosing each other. Still growing. Still fighting for us. Still loving through every season.
17 years down… and by God’s grace, many more to go. ❤️

There was a time it all felt like ashes.
Heavy. Dark. Unrecognizable.
But God doesn’t waste pain.
He transforms it.

was actually the beginning.

I used real pennies as the foundation for this piece.
Not to celebrate money—
but to challenge it.
“I WANT CHANGE.”
And I don’t mean coins.
I mean growth.
Justice.
Healing.
Something deeper than profit.
Because at some point, you have to ask—
what actually holds value?

God told me not to stop… even after this.
At the end of February 2026, I had surgery on my right rotator cuff. This is the arm that I paint with. This is the arm that I use as a makeup artist so it’s really caused me to have to rethink how I create art. So while I’m down to one arm, I wanted to experiment with stencils and my left arm (nondominant) to see what I could create. I was inspired by and his genius use of stencils. Join me on this journey.
