We are seeking a reliable and safety focused dump truck driver to join our fleet! This position is responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

Responsibilities:
- Operate dump trucks to haul soil, gravel, asphalt and other materials
- Follow all DOT, company and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate paperwork
- Assist with loading and unloading as necessary
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and crew members

Qualifications:
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and on active jobsites

Fleming Excavating Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team! Project Managers at Fleming Excavating Inc. will collaborate with their peers in the estimating department, project foremen and superintendents, as well as on-site personnel. Project Managers will be fully engaged in project planning, scheduling, purchasing of materials, along with maintaining and managing budget, subcontractors and change orders. This individual will be required to be disciplined, passionate, and have excellent management skills. People and time management skills are critical attributes for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Maintain relationship with peers as well as Project Owners
-Support site foreman
-Scheduling/permitting/RFI’s/ Submittals/ Punch List / Closeout
-Purchasing/ Procurement
-Budget Management / Change Orders

Qualifications & Requirements:
-Experience in the Construction Industry
-Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
-Ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously
-Estimating Experience a plus
-Field coordination and installation knowledge
-Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office and CAD)
-Disciplined, proactive and initiative to follow through

Preferred Skills:
-Construction Experience, especially in the Civil Construction industry
-Construction Management or Similar
-Proficient in CAD

Position Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field required or Estimating experience ~3 years.

Fleming Excavating Inc is looking to hire a couple of Laborers for pipe crews.

Job Description:

Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.

Cover pipes with Earth or other materials

Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement or glue.

Cut pipes to required lengths.

Install or repair sanitary or stormwater sewer structures or pipe systems.

Install or use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.

Grade or level trench bases, using tamping machines or hand tools.

Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints and coordinating layouts with supervisors.

Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing.

Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.

Fleming Excavating is looking for an experienced tri-axle truck driver with a minimum class B CDL, and who can operate a manual truck. Experience with hauling in and out of job sites as well as knowledge of stone quarry's in & around the Fort Wayne area is a bonus. Wages will vary based upon experience.
