I had to give the best restaurant that I ate at for my solo Paris trip it’s own post. I close my eyes and think about the flavors of that fish and the soup! Mmmmm….you can tell from each bite the passion that goes into creating every dish. The staff was amazing. Chef Leriche came out and talked to me about the island he is from, Martinique. He pulled out a wood carving of the Caribbean and he pointed it out - it was on the bar as well. It is such a nice touch to be greeted by the chef. The entire staff was amazing and so kind especially because my French is nonexistent. 😢 I will do better next time! Everything I ate was delicious. I left full and happy. I can’t wait to return and have already recommended Leriche to friends and clients. Thank you for an amazing experience ! It was truly the culinary highlight of my trip. Merci!

Hi! I went to London just to eat at Dishoom and would do it again. It never disappoints and this is the 3rd location I’ve tried in my 3 different visits to London. The quality is consistent and I love that about . Service is also always amazing. This was honestly my favorite trip to London even though I was only there for 2 nights. I had an amazing time and the food wasn’t the only highlight. However, this post is about food so let me focus! I went to and talked to the owner who is from Nigeria but lived in Texas and drove through Oklahoma all the time! I love that he brought our culture to London. The shop was nice and comfortable and my latte was amazing. I even bought some coffee beans for my chef . I also ate at Flat Iron, and had a burger that was 🤤. They give you a cute little butcher knife trinket to trade for an ice cream and the guy was nice enough to let me keep mine. ☺️ On my last morning in London, I headed to . I thought I was just going to grab some coffee and a bagel, but honey when I tell you it was THE BEST BAGEL AND LOX I eva had, just believe me. I thought I wasn’t gonna eat it all but it was too good to leave a bite. I’m glad I finished it because the meal they served on my train to Paris that afternoon was terrible. 😂 I was so happy that I was nice and full from my breakfast at Sista Barista. The coffee was so good that I grabbed a 2nd one to-go. Overall, my food experience in London was a 10/10. Dishoom is what gets me to London and always will, but I’m happy to have experienced some more places that will be on my must-have list when returning to the city.

Oh, you thought I was done talking about Amsterdam?? 😂 Nope! Because I HAVE to highlight one of my new favorite things to do while traveling - a PHOTO SHOOT! My modeling dreams can come true (on my own dime) and I don’t even have to lose any weight. 😂 But seriously after going to Paris for my solo trip in 2019 and having nothing to look at but selfies of my big beautiful head, I had to change that! For this trip, I met up with the wonderful Zoey . She is fantastic and managed to get great pics of me even though I tend to laugh through all of my photoshoots. 🤣😂 I love planning trips. Yes. It’s an obsession. Two nights in a row? Why not? Service - great. Food - obviously excellent. I flew all the way here from Atlanta to eat . Totally worth it. Will do it again. Which Dishoom will we try on our next visit? ✅ ✅ is next on the list.
