I’ll be leading a session on Acquiring Your IATA/IATAN Accreditation—breaking down what it takes, why it matters, and how meeting professionals, planners, and agencies can leverage accreditation to expand opportunities, earn commissions, and operate at a higher level in the global travel industry.
This work means a lot to me, and I’m honored to pour into a room full of talented Black professionals who are shaping the future of meetings, events, and tourism.
If you’re at the conference, stop by and let’s connect.
What an amazing life I have, and to be able to spend the next few days with highly melanated men and women - the 42nd National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals.
🎶 Turn up the volume for me!
Sometimes the pictures say it all — moments, memories, milestones. No captions needed, just vibes.
When you’ve worked hard, grown wiser, and still find reasons to smile — that’s the real flex.

Some days test your patience, others test your faith.
But every day gives you a choice — your attitude.
Stay grounded, stay grateful, stay growing.
This season is for the bold.
For the builders.
For the ones who rise higher than expected.
I’m activated.
Watch me work.
If you didn’t help me build the table, don’t think you’re going to sit at it and eat with me.

I am honored to be a featured speaker at the 42nd Annual National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals Conference in Portland, Oregon, November 19–22, 2025.
My session, “Acquiring Your Own IATAN Accreditation,” will focus on how owning your accreditation is more than just business—it is also about owning yourself, your independence, and your ability to create pathways without waiting for permission.
As the African proverb reminds us: “When there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you.” In the same way, when you own your accreditation, you own the confidence, credibility, and freedom to step fully into your role as a professional and leader.
This year’s theme—Empower. Innovate. Act.—captures exactly what this session is about: equipping Black meeting professionals with tools to control their narrative and expand their global opportunities.

I was in Botswana flying high above the trees, I felt both the rush of freedom and adrenaline that only zip lining can bring!
When she told me to sit, lean back, now go - that was a metaphor for almost every adventure I take in life. That step off the platform was a reminder that life begins when you step out of your comfort zone. The view was breathtaking, but the lesson was even greater—sometimes you just have to let go and trust the ride.
In life, we sometimes retrict our progress and possibilities for fear of people, places or things (i.e., money). Not me, we all breathe the same air and every man puts on his pants the exact same way.
Keep watching as I continue to be free.
