Another big spay day today! 4 dogs (2 M, 2 F) and 11 cats (1 M, 10 F), were fixed today! Thank you so much to Dr. Dutra, Abby, Lisa, Christina, Katie and Nichole for their help today. Sorry there are not a lot of pictures for today.

Fergie has landed in the perfect home. She will get to go to work with her new mom at times, she is enjoying her kitty siblings (them, not enjoying her as much) and she is living her best life. Thank you so much to her new family for adopting!

Sisters QT and CC will get to enjoy life together. We love when two go home at the same time. Thank you so much for adopting two! We hope you are having fun with them!

Little Mac was a popular guy. He was quickly adopted and we had a visit from him and his family today and he is doing great! Thank you so much for the donations and also for adopting and giving Mac a great home!

A great Spay Day today as 27 cats and dogs were spayed and neutered. 1 M, 2 F dogs; 2 M, 12 F pet cats; 6 HS kittens, and 4 TNR cats (2M, 2 F). Thank you very much, Dr. Owens, Abby, Lisa, and volunteers, for your dedication.
We need to get more cats and kittens off the street so if you can trap and bring in, pick up, and return and release, please call 217-809-1877 to set up a surgery date.

The many faces of Paddy. This handsome young man would love to find a home of his own. This guy loves toys, loves to run, loves to snuggle and will tell you all about his day when you stop paying attention to him. Paddy can be a little grabby when getting treats so a home with small children would probably not be a good idea. He has not shown well with other dogs, so he would probably do best as an only dog. Stop by and meet this handsome guy today! We are open 12-4pm.

Toasty is one of our lobby cats. Toasty is a beautiful girl, but she is very selective on which cats she likes. If she found a home where she is the only cat, she would be happy. She has not been around dogs. She loves people. She is a very curious cat and loves to watch how things work. She loves people and would love to be the center of your attention! Stop by and meet Toasty. We are open 12-4pm today!

Who is looking for a cute little short stack of love?? Then you definitely need to come and meet Fergie. Fergie weighs in around 40 pounds. She is around 1 1/2-2 years old. She is the perfect package. Cats? No problem. Dogs? They will be her best friend. Kids? She will knock them over, but she loves them. Cuddles? She wants them all. Her tail never stops wagging. She knows a few basic commands. You can meet Fergie during our public hours 12-4pm Wednesday through Saturday.

Sisters Ally and Sally are waiting for a place to call their own. They are both very outgoing
Ally, with the stripe, was more outgoing and showed her sister the ropes, and now they are both very social with anyone they meet. They have also done well with the two adult male cats they are housed with. You can visit them Wednesday through Saturday during our public hours 12-4pm.
