We are currently taking orders for Montessori Academy for Peace spirit Face Masks and Neck Buffs!
Each item is $8. The order was placed today so we were told they would arrive right before school starts!

Well, what can we say. It’s the end of school.
We are so proud of all our students! Congrats to the Montessori 8th graders that will now go out and represent us well!
Congrats to our staff who always make things special, even remote learning.
Congrats to parents who made it!!! We have been through the ringer these last few months but we’re officially done!

Thank you to everyone for ALL your support to us as Garfield PTA.
We enter now to Montessori Academy For Peace.

The time has come for lid drop off. Please bring them to school when you pick up your students things. The pickup times have been posted on the Garfield FB page. Thank you!

Hello Montessori Families!!

We hope that you are doing well and staying healthy! We are hoping that all of this will be behind us soon!

Mandi & I have an update regarding Teacher Appreciation Week! Even though there is a high probability that we will not be in session during Teacher Appreciation Week, we still want to show our teachers how much they mean to us!

Unfortunately, COVID-19 has forced us to change our original plan. (We don’t want to share that, as it’s still on the table for the 2020-2021 school year! 🙂)
Don’t worry though, we have come up with a new plan! But we need your help!

While you are all spending quality time at home, would you please have your student make a thank you or appreciation sign for their teacher and TA’s (if applicable). Also any other building staff such as speech, SE, librarian, and office personnel. We would like for parents to e-mail Mandi and I a photograph of your student holding the sign. We plan to put these photos into a slide show for each teacher. If you are not comfortable sending a picture of your child, we fully understand and respect that. We would still like for you to make the sign and just have your child sign it at the bottom.

Please help us in showing our teachers our much we appreciate them!!
