It’s been a minute. (Said with much sarcasm!!!)

The posts were placed mid-December. Here it is March 28th, and we FINALLY have concrete. Now maybe we’ll see progess occur in weeks, not months.

We had a new signed installed today. If you didn’t know, you wouldn’t know it’s new because it’s identical to the old (rotting) wooden one. Thank you, J&M Signs!

Well, LOOK AT THIS!!!! Building #2 commence!

UPDATE:
Wednesday morning, and all seems better. Clayton at COR got on the phone and must have moved Heaven and Earth to locate some milled posts for us! Thank you, Jesus. We might be able to back on the schedule for next week. I'll let you know.

Facebook asks here, "What's on your mind?". Well, I'm about to tell you.....

We're all set here to begin the second building, what we are calling the "boathouse". Metal has been delivered, and today, the 8x8 posts were to be delivered for a start date of Monday next week. They were delivered, BUT THEY'RE THE WRONG SIZE!!!! These aren't your standard posts, and we had to give them a 6 weeks' lead time to harvest and cut them! This means, my 8x8x24 posts are probably still in a forest somewhere!!! (Zoom in and you can see the measurement on the left side.)

This fault solely rests on AGCOR/COR (Cullman) because they knew the posts were supposed to be 24' because the metal is 27'. There's no way 20' posts can hold up that metal. ARGH!

All of this to say, at the VERY EARLIEST this building can be started is in 6 weeks, but the way this process went with the first building, I'm going to say we'll be lucky if we can begin in 2 months.

One complete (Well, we’re awaiting the garage doors.), and another one’s pieces were just delivered - to quote Walker Hayes, “Let’s go!”
