Mt Calvary Lutheran Church PreSchool

School is out for the summer! If you are looking for a preschool for your child for next year, we have a few openings remaining. We have been serving the families of Macon county for over 50 years. Here are some comments from our parents about our preschool.

Scovill Zoo was so much fun! The monkeys put on a show, the mountain lion was eating, the cheetahs were posing, and the goats didn't disappoint. And let's not forget how active the penguins were for us. Thanks to all the parents for helping and sharing your photos.

What a busy week. We celebrated the 100th Day of School! We enjoyed Bike Day fun complete with our traffic officer Mr. Roberts! The 3 year old class enjoyed playing with the 100th Day balloon sculpture.

Scovill Zoo field trip! List of a few highlights: beautiful weather, active animals, kids overcoming fears, kids learning about all kinds of animals, being with our friends.

Hat Day!

Rock Springs fun for the Three's class! We decided that we are glad we don't live in a Wigwam and have deer skin for blankets. Watching the birds from the giant window was fun! Of course the playroom, snack, and Duck, Duck, Goose were crowd favorites.

Monday was Butterfly Release Day. One little butterfly's GPS malfunctioned as he flew into Mr. Roberts face! Tuesday was a shortened trip to Rock Springs due to rainy weather. Rock Springs always has amazing things to explore. Wednesday, my friend made "Carvana" preschool style!

Monday will be "Butterfly Release Day".

Open House was a huge success with the weather being so frightening. We are thankful so many came out and braved the weather. As I was leaving the school, a couple of neighborhood kids were "sledding" into our "pond". They were having so much fun.

The 4's class had fun creating shapes on their geo boards. Very creative.

Due to the significant cold and poor anticipated road conditions, there will be no school tomorrow, Monday, January 26th.
