We are deeply appreciative of the City of Decatur, Alabama - Government for their generous donation of this 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. This truck will be extremely beneficial to our mission.

People often ask what the shelter needs besides money, so we thought that we'd give you a list! 😍

TVO provides all of our clients with any cleaning or hygiene supplies. We also provide three meals per day! 🍱

Our kitchen and pantry supplies are getting kinda low so here are some ideas if you are wanting and willing to help us out!

Pantry and Kitchen

*Family size bags or boxes of any type of potato! Mashed, scalloped, etc. We can use them all! 🥔🥔🥔

*Family sized packets or boxes of seasoned rice 🍚

*Family sized jars or cans of pasta sauce and any type of pasta 🍅

*Family size Taco kits 🌮

*Cake mixes and cake frosting 🍰

*Mayonnaise and Salad Dressings 🥗

*Canned vegetables (except for green beans...we have more cans of them than the Jolly Green Giant 😁)

*Spices 🧄🧂🌶️

*Family sized boxes of Hamburger Helper 🥘

*Canned fruits 🍎🍐🍓

*Fresh vegetables and fruit a REAL treat! 🫐🍉🥕🥦

‼️Did you know that we have freezers??

*We can always use any type of meat, chicken, pork, turkey, etc...
🍗🥩🍖

*Frozen Vegetables 🌽🫘

*Frozen breakfast items 🥞🍩

*Frozen pizzas 🍕🍕🍕

We love to get other supplies...we go through a lot here. Items such as vinegar, Pine Sol, Lysol, all sizes of Ziplock bags (both storage and freezer) washing powder, dryer sheets, bleach, stain removers and basically anything to do with laundry will make us give you a hug. 🥰🥰🥰

Any hygiene supplies like soap, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, disposable razors (men and women) shaving cream, sanitary napkins/tampons, band aids and lotions are always needed. 🩹🧴

Of course, we can always use cash 💲 and gift cards to WalMart, Publix, Target, Kroger, etc...and we will just go buy this stuff ourselves if you don't want to get out and fight the weather or traffic! 🌞🌨️❄️🚌🚙

Priceville Community Thrift Store a (Ministry of Shoal Creek Baptist Church) continues to give back to our community.

Thanks to our customers and volunteers, we were able to donate to Tennessee Valley Outreach for the month of April.

Tennessee Valley Outreach is a non-profit Christian organization that exists to help the less fortunate with the ability to get their lives back on track.

Matt Richards from Tennessee Valley Outreach accepted the check for this great organization.
